allows people
who didn’t attend one of the universities but have an interest in the university and its programs to join as "fans." Registration is exactly the same as it is for all university alumni and students, except that you select a different relationship at the time of registration.
On the
onedegree
home page, click Join Now in the left-hand column. You’ll see a new screen where you’ll need to enter pertinent information such as your relationship to USC, your year, major and degree. You’ll also enter an email address and create a password. Then you’ll be able to enter details about how to contact you, as well as social and professional information.

On the
"My Profile" page, click your "Public Profile" and look for the Email Address under the "Registration Information" section. Simply type in the new email address you want to use, and click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Once you sign up with
onedegree
, you will be able to create both a social and professional profile. You can edit either of your profile pages by clicking the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page and visiting the specific profile page you wish to edit.
You decide who sees your profile and how much information they can see. When creating or editing any of your profiles (public, social or professional), simply select your desired preference settings. By changing these preferences, you can set who can view your profile and what information they can see when visiting your profile pages.
You can also change what profile (social or professional) an individual connection can view. Simply visit your "My Connections" page and underneath your connection’s profile picture, select what profile you wish them to view.
You have the ability to both respond to connection requests from other people and to initiate those requests yourself. You can
search for people with an existing profile or
invite others if they are not yet members. To accept
requested connections visit your Connections Requests page.

groups can be either social or professional.
Visit the Groups page to see all existing groups. To join an existing group, click the "Join Now" button associated with the group. If you don’t see a group for one of your interests, you can
create a new group.
Are you friends asking why you haven’t uploaded a profile picture? Tired of your profile looking "faceless"?
Here's how to upload or change a profile picture:
- Log in, click on "My Profile", then click your "Public Profile".
- Click "Edit Profile".
- Under the Profile Picture section, click "Browse" to select a picture from your computer that you wish to upload.
To delete your photo, follow the same steps above, except click "Remove". Your profile photo will then be deleted. Remember, once your delete your profile photo no one will be able to see it when they view your profile.
